Boldings Pools put on a full house of six opens this week      , which started with tight match on Monday. Paul Wheeler [PI Boldings] scraped home in first place, winning by six ounces when he scaled 83-6-0 at Oak peg 8. He had to work for his win though, combining maggot and pellet to put together a net of carp to 4lbs, backed up by a mixture of silvers.

Paul Gadd [Ind] was over on the Sycamore Pool, at peg 36, catching carp, bream and barbel on corn and pellet, to finish with a level 83-0-0. Back on the Oak Tony Foster [PI Bold] was close behind in third with 81-8-0 at peg 1, and Harry Colley [PI Bold] was only half a pound further back with his level 80-0-0 at Oak 13.

Hawthorn peg 3 came up with the winner for Tony Woolaston [Fatty's Tackle] on Tuesday, when carp to 4lbs and a mix of silvers added up to 140-5-0.

Silver fish continued to feature on Wednesday, boosting the catch of carp to 5lbs landed by Steve Owen [Monkhall]      to 102-3-0 at Beech peg 32. Steve caught on bread and maggot, fished at 6 metres and close in to the side.

Dave Brown [Maver] just keeps on setting the best weight of the week at Boldings, and did it again this week when he posted 143-8-0 at Sycamore peg 21 on Thursday. Shallow fished bread, presented at 6 metres and 10 metres brought carp to 6lbs to the net for Dave.

Adam Rumble [PI Bold] also fished up in the water at Willows peg 4, but with pellet, which resulted in a mix of carp and barbel which gave a runner up weight of 134-2-0. Daz Wardle [Ind] recorded 127-1-0 for third at Willows peg 5, and back on the Sycamore Andy Williams [Colmic Vespe] made it an all ton top four with 121-8-0 at peg 16.

Paul Wheeler booked himself another top spot on Saturday, this time at peg 4 on the Sycamore, where pellet in the margins drew in carp to 5lbs, which gave a 91-1-0 winner.

Jamie Langford [PI Bold] was over on peg 33 and collected second with his 82-8-0, which kept Joe Brennan [PI Bold] at bay with his 69-13-0 from peg 8. Fourth came from the Oak Pool when Steve Hall [Oswestry] scaled 68-3-0 at peg 4.
