BOLDINGS REPORT
Phil Shaw (Lower Hill) moved up from a mid week second last week to win the Monday open on the Willows Pool at Boldings Pools this week.
Shallow pellet brought plenty of carp in the 1lb to 4lb bracket to the net to give Phil a return of 122-15-0 at peg 9.
Alan Jones (Deggys) also topped the 100lbs mark at peg 16 where he offered corn and pellet in the side for carp to 7lbs and barbel to 1lb, ending the day on 104-8-0. At the next peg Colin Reynolds scaled 97-6-0 for third and Eric Bancroft (Rod & Gun) had 72-8-0 at peg 7 in 4th.
New record holder Carl Foster (OB Wolves) headed a trio of tons on Wednesday with a pellet based 133-13-0 on the next peg to one his record came from. Peg 23 on the Sycamore gave him victory, with carp to 9lbs coming from close in.
Last Wednesdays winner Brian Clarke (Maver Midlands) had carp to 8lbs and bream to 3lbs on close fished maggot for 116-10-0 for second at peg 42. Shane Rogers (OAC) had his first of two tons to finish third on 110-5-0 at peg 5 and Ralph Johnson (Bilston AC) who won on Thursday last week, was 4th on 90-9-0.
Ralph made it two Thursday s on the trot with another win this week, leading the way with 88-9-0 at Chestnut peg 4. Pellet at 5 metres and in the edge put carp to 8 lbs on the scales.
Eric Bancroft was in the prize list again , picking up second thanks to 73-5-0 on pellet and paste at peg 7. Ed Turner (OBW) claimed third with 71-10-0 from peg 38 and Steve Hall (Oswestry) netted 66-14-0 for 4th at peg 30.
Shane Rogers recorded top weight of the week with his second ton, a level 138-0-0 on Saturday. Point peg 13 saw Shane fishing paste to each side to pick off carp to 9lbs on his way to victory.
Andy Bayliss-Kyte (Maver Sonubaits) fished corn and paste in the side at peg 3 to find carp to 7lbs with some small barbel for 98-12-0 and second. Carl Foster had another pick up when he scaled 95-3-0 at peg 48 to finish third, with John Francis (R&G) 4th on 85-4-0 at peg 21.

Steve Roberts (Oak Ang Cent) had carp, chub and barbel to top the Oak card with 92-1-0, which came to maggot and corn.
Back on the Chestnut Gary Morris (OBW) was three up from the winner and had 89-9-0 for third, leaving Dave Barnard (R&G) on 87-3-0 to complete the week.
