BOLDINGS REPORT
There were no weights available for the Monday open on the Oak at Boldings Pools at the time of writing, but the match was won by Colin Wozak [Matrix Total Angling] ahead of Keith Powell [PI Boldings] and Mick Jameson [Mid Leisure ].
Keith Powell moved up a place on the Sycamore on Wednesday, winning with 39-1-0 from peg 4. Maggot at 5 metres and down the edge put carp to 4lbs in Keith’s net. At corner peg 6 Phil Shaw [Lower Hill] used the same tactics and caught similar fish to scale 36-2-0 for second. Over at peg 48 Pete Ricketts [New Willenhall] was close behind on 35-8-0 and at peg 46 Bob Tromans [Fiery Holes] weighed
Mitch Davidson [Maver Gold] claimed top spot on Thursday when he fished to the stumps at peg 11 on the Stock Pool with maggot, to take a catch of carp in the 1lb to 3lbs range which gave a total of 58-14-0.
At peg 5 on the Middle Pool Dave Hailey [PI Bold] fished into the corner and across to the far bank with maggot to net a second best 49-13-0, which featured carp to 5lbs. Third came from the Ash when Howard Williams [Tricast Weston] handed 43-2-0 to the scalesman at peg 18, and Colin Reynolds [Bilston Ang Cent] made it a full house of different pools in the frame with his 41-13-0 at Hawthorn 3.
Kevin Melville [Matrix TA] continued the maggot trend on Saturday, winning with a net of carp to 4lbs and bream to 2lbs, caught close in at Sycamore 34, and weighing 60-12-0.

Best on the Willows came from Joe Brennan [PI Bold] whose 35-11-0 put him in 5th overall.
Peg 16 on the Beech has thrown up a few winners already this year, and did so again on Sunday when Ben Stamford [Bilston Ang Cent] posted top weight of the week, 73-1-0. Pellet at 13 metres found carp to 6lbs to Ben on the road to victory.
Nige Clarke framed again, going one better than the previous day by picking up second with a Sycamore best of 70-4-0, which he took on waggler and corn at peg 34. Clive Wynn [Tri West] took home the third prize by netting 66-12-0 at Sycamore 13, while an Oak best of 60-13-0 handed fourth to Dave Craggs [Maver].
