BOLDINGS REPORT
Dave Barnard (Rod & Gun) was the first of two winners from last week at Boldings to make top spot again this week, following up his Thursday victory with a win on Wednesday this time out.
Dave picked Middle peg 8 out of the bag, not too promising as the peg hasn’t featured much during the cold weather. Almost any peg in the bag at Boldings can come up with the goods though, and Dave proved the point by taking carp to 3lbs on pellet, fished at 8 metres and close in, for 34-7-0.
Runner up Carl Foster (OB Wolves)was on peg 13 on the Hawthorn, where pellet at 10 metres attracted carp to 4lbs to give figures of 32-9-0. Back on the Middle, Phil Shaw (Lower Hill) had 28-14-0 at peg 3 for third, with Gary Morris (OBW) in close attendance on
Richard Lawson (Maver Midlands) took the weeks top weight for the second week on the trot when he fished through the snow showers on Thursday to net 41-9-0 at peg 3 on the Hawthorn. Richard alternated between 9 and 12 metres with pellet and maggot to find carp to 5lbs.
Pete Ricketts (New Willenhall) found carp and skimmers with pellet at 12 metres at peg 5 on the Ash to scale

Diagonally opposite Steve Mick Jameson (Mid Leisure) offered pellet at 9 metres and close in to tempt carp to 5lbs, but finished a fish short on 37-15-0. Mark Lloyd (
