Boldings report

Boldings report    7-1-15.

Simon Richardson [Maver] was the final winner of 2014 at Boldings with victory on the New Years Eve open. The aerators were working overtime to keep the pools free of ice in temperatures of minus 4c, and at peg 31 on the Oak Pool ‘Rico’ found the fish willing to feed on maggot at 16 metres. A steady supply of carp to 5lbs helped to build a 49-6-0 winner.

Up at peg 24 Morgan Davidson [Oakengates Ang Cent] had carp to 4lbs on maggot at 13 metres to net 43-8-0 for second. Simon Mottram [Drennan NW/ABC] was on the end of the dam at Oak peg 5 and netted 38-9-0 to fill third, leaving a Chestnut Pool top score of 29-10-0 to give fourth to Scott Doodson [Preston Innov Boldings]

Colin Reynolds [Bilston Ang Cent] had his fair share of wins in 2014, and began 2015 in the same vein with victory on New Years Day, which he followed up with another win on the following Sunday.
