Boldings report
Runner up Phil Shaw (Lower Hill) offered pellet to the island, and in the channel at peg 21 to net 44-10-0 of carp to 5lbs. Eric Bancroft (Rod & Gun) finished in third on 36-5-0 and last weeks winner Colin Reynolds (Bilston Ang Cent) had 33-1-0 in 4th.
Karl drew peg 24 on the Sycamore on Wednesday and put pellet to use again, fishing at 8 metes and close in to find carp to 8 lbs for his 51-9-0 winner.
Gary Morris (OB Wolves) was a close second with a corn and pellet based 50-0-0 at Sycamore 4. Andy Williams (Vespe) was top on the Chestnut and third overall with 48-6-0, which was closely followed by 47-14-0 from Pete Ricketts (New Willenhall) at Sycamore 16.
Gary Morris moved up to first place on Thursday, winning from Oak peg 16 which yielded 50-1-0 to pellet, fished down the side and at 10 metres.
Tony Foster (OBW) led a scramble for the rest of the placings, posting 46-1-0 at Beech 16 for second. At Beech 7 John Wild (
Sam Rushdon (Fosters Tipton) was the first 2010 angler to record 100lbs when he topped the Saturday card with 105-7-0. Shallow fished caster and maggot, fished at 12 metres did the trick for Sam at peg 5 on the Sycamore, and his catch featured carp to 10lbs.
Steve Roberts (Oakengates Ang Cent) was only one fish short of a ton when he weighed 98-2-0 at Sycamore 33. Steve’s fish came to maggot, fished down the side. Neil Turner (Fosters) had 77-7-0 at Sycamore 13 for third, ahead of Keith Powell (OBW) on 69-13-0.
Dave Brown (Maver) added almost 20lbs to Saturdays winning score when he put 124-13-0 on the scales at peg 15 on the Larch on Sunday. Dave fished shallow with caster and maggot at 14 metres for carp to 8lbs.

BOLDINGS REPORT
Steve Roberts (Oakengates Ang Cent) repeated his double win of a fortnight ago at Boldings Pools this week, and also took the top catch of week again too.
The week at Boldings began with the restart of the Monday affordable opens, and former regular winner of these, Colin Reynolds (Bilston Ang Cent) picked up where he left off, to win the first of the new series. Peg 5 on the Hawthorn yielded carp to 4lbs for Colin, who presented pellet at 12 metres to haul in 41-3-0.
Martin Travis (Total Angling) worked both the 10 metre and the 5 metre line with maggot and pellet at peg 13, and also had carp to 4lbs to finish on 30-0-0 in second, leaving Harry Colley (OB Wolves) on
Gary Morris (OBW) won the Wednesday match for the second week running, leading the way from peg 38 on the Chestnut, where corn and pellet at 6 metres and 12 metres had the net sliding under carp to 5lbs for 42-4-0.
Mark Foster (OBW) was up at the point on peg 32 and fished pellet close in and at 6 metres to net carp to 4lbs for

Gary Morris was in the hunt again, finishing exactly 2lbs behind the winner with a net of carp to 5lbs, caught on corn and pellet at 13 metres at peg 21 on the Chestnut. Third went to last Thursdays winner Pete Ricketts (New Willenhall) who had a Willows best of 41-9-0, and the Foster family were represented by Carl this time, whose 39-7-0 for 4th came from Chestnut 18.
Roberts was top of the class again on Saturday, with the weeks best catch, 84-0-0. This time he went out to 12 metres with maggot to net carp to 7lbs at peg 36 on the Chestnut.
Dave Craggs (OBW) was round from the point on peg 30 where carp to 6 lbs picked up his maggot offerings at 5 and 14 metres, to give a return of 62-6-0 for second. Steve Hall (Oswestry) scaled
Andy Bayliss-Kyte (Maver Sonubaits) was the final winner of the week when Beech 7 came up with the goods on Sunday. Andy had carp to 5 lbs on pellet at 7 metres to scale 58-4-0 for his win.
Pete Ricketts framed again, taking second with a pellet based 48-6-0 from Beech 23, to head off a challenge from Dave Hailey (OBW) whose 46-6-0 was top score on the Chestnut, then it was back to the Beech for 4th placed Keith Miller (New Willenhall) on 41-7-0 at peg 20.
