The Monday honours at Boldings Pools went to Shifnal rod Dave Mortlock who put a pellet and worm combination to good use at peg 18 on the Chestnut Pool. Carp and bream moved in on the bait, which Dave presented at 4 metres and in the margins, and at the whistle, he had slipped the net under 105-3-0 under samples to 7lbs and 3lbs respectively.
Along at peg 13 Steve Owen [Monkhall] had a mix of carp to 7lbs and barbel to 3lbs on corn and pellet to finish second on 94-8-0. Over on peg 36 Graham Roberts [PI Boldings] put 79-12-0 in the weigh sling to pick up third, with Tony Foster [PI Bold] filling 4th from peg 16 where he scaled 73-1-0.

Steve Owen picked up another second by topping the Larch Pool card. He worked corn down the edge at peg 1 to tempt 88-12-0 of carp to 6lbs. Matt Edgerton [Oakengates Angling Centre] was at peg 19 on the Larch and had 67-1-0 to collect third, and close behind was Harry Colley [PI Bold] on 64-7-0 at Sycamore 13.

Larch peg 1 filled second again when Bob Baker [PI Bold] swapped between shallow pellet and corn down the side to net a level 96-0-0 of carp to 8lbs and bream to 2lbs. Dave Brown tagged a third place onto his first by weighing 92-4-0 at point peg 29 on the Oak, while a Hawthorn top score of 89-8-0 gave Dave Lloyd [Maver] a close third.
