BOLDINGS REPORT
Two Dorset Pools members took the main prizes on the Monday pen at Boldings this week, following the example set by Martin Davenport on Saturday of last week.
Top of the pair was Bill Ward who pulled Oak peg 31 from the bag, which he tackled with pellet, fished close in to the right of the peg and into the corner on the left. Carp to 6lbs responded to give Bill a return of 87-11-0.
Eddie was next door at peg 29 on the point, where shallow fished maggot put 69-4-0 of carp to 5lbs in the net for the runner up spot. Colin Reynolds (Bilston Ang Cent) was over on peg 13 where 64-14-0 gave him third and in 4th, at peg 27, was Eric Bancroft (Rod & Gun) on 60-1-0.
Tony Foster (OB Wolves) helped to push up the averages on Wednesday by putting together a 111-2-0 top net at peg 7 on the Hawthorn, using pellet in the side to pick of carp to 9lbs.
At peg 3 on the same pool Ralph Johnson (Bilston Ang Cent) offered caster at 5 metres and in the side for a runner up total of 93-13-0, made up with carp to 7lbs. Mel Kitson (R&G) had the best weight from the Middle Pool, 88-3-0 from peg 8 to take third, and Matt Prosser (Bilston Ang Cent) had 67-6-0 from Middle 10 in 4th.

John Wild (
Pete Plant (Maver) followed up his win of last Sunday by taking the honours on the Saturday match this week. He was in the corner at peg 1 on the Hawthorn and put caster to use again, taking carp to 7lbs fishing shallow in open water and in the side for 93-10-0.
Andy Williams (Vespe) finished second for the second Saturday on the trot. He fished maggot and corn to the island and close in at hawthorn 11 to net 82-6-0.
